Fourteen female designers at Nike were chosen to participate in “The 1 Reimagined” project, which aimed to update the iconic 1980s basketball shoe for the modern woman. The Women's Air Force 1 Explorer XX 'The 1 Reimagined' features an all-white color scheme, suede and leather upper, and an exposed tongue kept in place by a lockdown velcro strap. The model also boasts an inner bootie for added support, and a large heel pull tab for an easy fit.
