New Balance teamed up with premium sock and essentials brand Stance for a vintage-inspired makeup of NB’s 1978 silhouette. Part of the First of All pack that also included a 997, the collection was inspired by each brand’s hometown—Boston and San Clemente. The Stance x 1978 represents San Clemente, incorporating a premium suede construction with light blue and beige accents to represent the beaches and iconic surf spots of the city. The packaging includes a pair of socks that match the city’s inspiration.
