In October 2019, the adidas Harden Vol. 4 'Candy Paint' was unveiled as a reflection of James Harden's off-court style. The sneaker makes use of a patterned textile upper with a stabilizing midfoot band, protective toe film and dynamic, gradient laces. Personal insignia is included on the inner collar and insole. A Lightstrike midsole and updated outsole tread are designed specifically for the player's explosive movements.
