The Nike Air Max 1 'Swipa,’ released in May 2019, was inspired by Sacramento Kings point guard De’Aaron Fox. This colorfully mismatched pair has red, light blue and black on the left shoe, while the right shoe features orange, blue and pink. Each has a suede upper and a stingray-patterned midsole, which houses the familiar visible Max Air unit. Fox’s nickname, ‘Swipa,’ is embroidered on the heel, while his jersey number, 5, is on the tongue. Mathematical equations and planetary drawings decorate the insole.
