Released in February 2016, the Nike KD 8 'Aunt Pearl' was a tribute to Durant's late Aunt Pearl who passed away from lung cancer in 2000. Proceeds from the 'Aunt Pearl' were donated towards the Kay Yow Cancer Fund.
