The Old Skool silhouette was Vans' trademark design that incorporated leather paneling for the first time. Since its release in 1977, the silhouette has attracted many collaborators, including Disney. The Disney x Old Skool '80s Mickey' features a canvas upper with 80’s-style multicolor Mickey Mouse graphics throughout. The sneaker also sports pink suede overlays on the heel and toe box for support, a padded collar for added comfort, a cushioned footbed for impact protection, and a vulcanized outsole with a Mickey Mouse checkerboard pattern.
