The C2H4 x Vans Era ‘Virtual Reality Alpha’ is drawn from a three-piece collection with the LA-based brand helmed by Yixi Chen. Inspired by the futurist aesthetic of sci-fi movies from the ‘70s – ‘90s, the sneaker’s cream-colored canvas nylon upper is embellished with a ‘Matrix of Consciousness’ print. A translucent Vans tag decorates the lateral forefoot, while ‘C2H4’ is imprinted on the black suede heel overlay. A matching black rubber midsole features printed text on the sidewall, including ‘Protective Barrier’ on the lateral forefoot.
