The Nike Air Max Plus emerged as a technical update to the line in 1998. The shoe was designed by Sean McDowell, who took inspiration from palm trees during a Floridian trip. This GS 'Volt' rendition sees the design in almost all black, with hits of the brand's electrifying Volt color. The breathable mesh upper is reinforced with TPU piping for lightweight support. Below, Tuned Air units are included at the heel to help promote a responsive feel.
