While most Air Max 97s come with suede or leather overlays, the Nike Air Max 97 ’17 ‘Team Red’ sneaker switches things up with a lightweight mesh base topped by knit layers. The mesh features a gradient pattern offset by the overlays, which alternate between solid and patterned as well. The midsole features the sneaker’s signature full-length Air unit, followed by a rubber outsole in the same tone as the upper.
