Air Jordan 16 Retro 'Countdown Pack'
June 2008 marked the first retro-release of the Nike Air Jordan 16 Retro 'Countdown Pack' sneaker, a beloved model from Michael Jordan’s post-Bulls era. Paired with the Air Jordan 7 'Hare' colorway, the CDP paired two Jordans which added up to 23. Debuted in 2001, the usual Air Jordan designer Tinker Hatfield took a step back and let Wilson Smith III take lead on the AJ16 design. Inspired by MJ’s transition from player to executive, the gaiter can be worn attached, to resemble a dress shoe, or removed, for performance-minded wear.
