Guram and Demna Gvasalia founded Vetements in 2014, subverting streetwear and luxury with an irreverent design language. Outerwear silhouettes fuse utilitarian construction with exaggerated proportions and ironic graphics, rooted in a perspective shaped by post-Soviet Georgia. Today, these codes permeate apparel styles such as oversized puffers, reconstructed trench coats and graphic bomber jackets.
