A lighter and more comfortable version of the original AM97, Nike gave the women’s Air Max 97 Ultra 17 a special edition ‘White Emerald Glow’ colorway in December 2018. The runner’s upper features redesigned taped tracks rather than traditional embroidery and a pearlized mudguard wrap. The contrasting upper rests atop a black midsole with a full-length visible Max Air unit and red rubber outsole.
