Riccardo Tisci, an Italian fashion designer, is known for applying his talents to unexpected projects. Between roles at Givenchy and Burberry, Tisci collaborated with Jay-Z and Kanye West to design the cover art for the duo’s album, Watch The Throne. To commemorate NBA All-Star Weekend 2018, NikeLab enlisted Tisci to create the 'Victorious Minotaurs' edition of the Air Force 1 High, with the name riffing on the idea of NBA superstars reaching mythic status. The high-top silhouette features leather uppers and custom Nike ‘R.T.’ branding on the toe box.
