Emerged in April 2019, the adidas NMD_R1 from the 'Speckle' pack is tweaked with modern street elements and premium touches. This edition's Scarlet mesh bootie sees a contrast suede heel, fused Three-Stripes and branded tape detailing. Multilingual typography is printed on the pull tab and across the heel. The sneaker's Boost midsole features speckled EVA plugs, riding atop a rubber outsole to balance cushioning and traction.
