Japan-based Mita Sneakers joined forces with ASICS for the retro release of the Gel Lyte 3 in 2015 to commemorate 25 years of the classic GL3 silhouette. The 'Far East' model comes dressed in all black and showcases leather and shiny nylon in the upper. A leopard pattern on the insole and the words 'Tokyo Ueno' honor the store's locale and give the shoe a color boost. Midfoot mesh and subtle perforations provide airflow while an exaggerated white midsole helps cushion from below.
