Wood Wood x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Hi 'First String'
Copenhagen-based Wood Wood partnered with Converse to launch the Chuck Taylor Wood Hi 'Wood Wood' street-ready sneaker. Released in 2008 as part of the 1HUNDR(RED) campaign, an initiative by Bono and Bobby Shriver, the high top is equipped with a grey suede upper. Perforations throughout the shoe contribute to a unique aesthetic as do the two uppermost eyelets in red. All Star branding hits the heel and ankle while a Wood label is attached to the tongue to wrap up the socially-conscious design.
