The Air Max Plus GS 'Sunset' kids' came out in the beach-inspired OG colorway that mirrors that of the original adult version. Created by Nike designer Sean McDowell in 1998, this addition to the AM line took inspiration from the ocean-inspired aesthetic, including wavy, supportive side-wall ribs that emulated palm trees, and a 'whale's tail' midfoot plate for extra arch stability. The Tuned Air outsole creates a soft, responsive ride, and waffle rubber lugs protect against impacts.
