The Nike Air Max 97 SE ‘Blue’ is drawn from the ‘Air Max Running Club’ collection, inspired by a fictional ‘70s track team and showcasing the vintage aesthetic of the decade that birthed a running revolution. The upper combines a navy textile base with tonal suede overlays in smooth and hairy textures. A contrasting off-white finish is applied to the laces and exposed foam tongue, the latter accented with a woven Nike Air tag. Additional branding elements include a yellow embroidered mini-Swoosh and mismatched tags that display ‘AMRC’ and ‘BVRTN, OR’ lettering. The sneaker is mounted on a crisp white foam midsole, featuring a visible Max Air unit that runs the length of the black rubber outsole.
