In celebration of Chinese New Year in 2005, the Nike Air Force 1 Premium is interpreted in a special 'Year Of The Dog' edition. A symbolic color palette is draped across the leather upper, Swooshes and tooling. Chinese characters for the Tibetan mastiff are featured on the heel and insole, with a traditional multicolored graphic printed on the backstay. The hues are reprised on the rubber cupsole.
