Celebrating the 2012 Summer Olympics and the 30th anniversary of the Air Force 1, this Dover Street Market x Air Force 1 NRG features a unique weatherproof and fire-resistant Ventile upper. Developed by scientists in Manchester, England, in the early 1940s, the high-quality woven fabric was employed during WWII by fighter pilots. In addition to the Ventile upper, this version of the AF1 also features 1718 branding on the tongue as a nod to the original store’s address in Mayfair, with black Nike Air branding on the heel and a white sole unit underfoot with Air cushioning.
