Founded in 1972, ROCKIN'ON is a Japanese magazine covering music and the artists that create it. Since its launch, the publication has split into other specialties, including an edition that focuses exclusively on the domestic market, known simply as "ROCKIN'ON JAPAN." 'H ROCKIN'ON JAPAN' is a special variant of the magazine, released irregularly and often used to promote movies, albums and other events. Arriving in September 1996, Volume 12 includes a cover story with Chloë Sevigny and a fashion editorial with Japanese fashion label Lad Musician. This magazine has been sourced by Hi-Bridge Books, an appointment-only rare media archivist and bookstore located in Tokyo.
