Revamping the iconic silhouette with 'Bleached Lilac' and deep violet over a white base, the Wmns Air Max 1 Essential 'Cosmic Purple' released in May 2016 to energize Nike's summer retro running line. In 1987, Nike designer Tinker Hatfield created the first Air Max sneaker with inspiration from the Pompidou Centre in Paris.
