Dropping as part of the brand’s 2021 Chinese New Year lineup, the adidas UltraBoot 4.0 DNA ‘Black’ confines the thematic graphic elements to the shoe’s signature there-stripes. The upper itself is constructed from black Primeknit, partially made with recycled yarn that includes Parley Ocean Plastic. A hint of red on the tongue tag evokes traditional red envelopes distributed during Chinese New Year. The lightweight runner is mounted on a matching black Boost midsole, supported by a Stretchweb outsole built with Continental rubber.
