Part of Nike's '10th Series' celebrating the life and service of co-founder Bill Bowerman, the React Sertu 'Black Volt' was released September 2019 with a blend of old-school durability and modern lifestyle innovation. During WWII, Bowerman was a member of the U.S. Army's 10th Mountain Division, fighting in the Italian Alps for the American cause. This hybrid sneaker blends military-inspired toughness with a soft ride, made of rugged nylon, leather and suede over a React foam midsole.
