The Ralph Steadman x OG SK8-Hi LX 'Zebra' sneaker released in May 2019 as part of a capsule collection devoted to raising awareness for animals facing extinction. For this model, the canvas upper of Vans' iconic SK8-Hi is embellished Steadman's illustration of Grevy's zebra, a creature whose population had dwindled to around 2,500 at the time of the shoe's release due to illegal hunting, habitat loss and starvation. A vulcanized sole and rubber Waffle-inspired tread reside below.
