Launching as part of a three-piece pack with Justin Saunders’ menswear label, the JJJJound x Vans Sk8-Mid VLT LX ‘Brown’ confers a simple-two tone palette to the shoe that debuted in 1978 as the Style 37. A white leather jazz stripe cuts through the canvas side panel, while contrast white stitching enlivens the suede toe box, eyestay and heel overlay. The latter is accented with a small JJJJound tag on the lateral side. The mid-top is mounted on a white vulcanized rubber midsole, which gives way to a matching white waffle-traction outsole.
