First appearing on the Air Jordan 5, reflective detailing has a long-standing history with Air Jordan. With the initial intention of dazzling on-court photography, 3M remains a favorite design element among collectors. 2014 saw a liberal use of reflective fabrications with the Air Jordan 13 Retro 'Reflective Silver.' The 'Reflective Silver' features a 3M-like upper and toe box creating an almost entirely reflective design that harkens back to the Air Jordan 5 “Green Bean” of 2006.
