Released in November 2009, the Air Jordan 12 Retro ‘Flu Game’ 2009 celebrates Michael Jordan’s legendary performance in Game 5 of the 1997 NBA Finals. Battling flu-like symptoms, Jordan scored 38 points in leading the Bulls to a 3-2 series lead over the Utah Jazz. Not an exact replica, the shoe features a black suede upper against a Varsity red mudguard and outsole, with a sick-face icon on the tongue. The icon appears again on the heel, sandwiched between ‘97’ and ’38.’
