In 2006, Sony and Nike worked together on a partnership that is still going strong today. Helping promote the basketball game ‘NBA 06 The Life’, artwork from the title can be seen on the insole. Never released to the public, a limited number of Nike Air Force 1 ‘PlayStation’s were distributed solely to friends, family and contest winners. The lucky recipients received this special-edition AF1, showcasing a white leather Swoosh overlaid on a glossy black patent-leather upper. The Swoosh also covers the distinctive heel panel, highlighted by a gradient blue-purple finish as well as an embroidered PlayStation logo.
