The Nike Air Force 1 was originally conceived by designer Bruce Kilgore as a performance basketball sneaker. In 1982, the design was unveiled as the first hardwood shoe to bear the brand's Air-Sole cushioning. This edition sees the shoe dressed in the New York Knicks team colors, with the lining, heel piece and laces in Signal Blue and Orange Blaze hitting the Swoosh and branding. Below, the shoe retains the encapsulated Air that made the original a hit.
