Every year leading up to Air Max Day, Nike announces several major releases, which generally include retros of iconic Air Max models, unexpected collaborations and new innovations that help push the Air Max franchise forward. For the very first Air Max Day, Nike created a special-edition Air Max 1 featuring a tongue tab decorated with the date “3.26.”
